We, as the Italian Club, are here to carry forward our Italian heritage. With members like you we can set the very foundation by which this goal can be reached and we encourage you to become actively involved.
Noi siamo confidenti che participando alle attivita’ del club, si svilupanno delle care amicizie. Al stesso tempo ritroverete I’amore e la passione per la cultura Italiana che siamo stati fortunati d’ereditare. Avrete pure I’orgoglio di passare questa ricca cultura alle nostre generazioni future.
The Calgary Italian Club hosts many yearly events for our members and guests. Our events are usually News years Eve which is always well attended featuring an all inclusive evening of exquisite dining and dancing with a midnight celebration count-down. We also have a Children’s Pumpkin Carving Halloween Family night in October which is usually the Saturday before Halloween. In November we host the Annual Wine Festival and Prizes are awarded for wine entries that are judged. We always include a great dinner and live entertainment which has made this event so elegant and well attended. We also host a Members Family Christmas Luncheon which includes a great lunch and Santa arrives with brilliant gifts for the kids. All these events and more can be found on our events calendar.
EARTHQUAKE RELIEF EFFORTS
In light of the recent devastating earth quake in L'Aquila, Italy. The Calgary Italian Community is currently making efforts to raise funds for the stricken area via press releases and word of mouth. In an attempt to make a greater impact, the Italian community is organizing a fund raising event to be held on April 24th and 25th at The Italian Club 416 - 1st Avenue N.E., we will open our doors to the public and offer our culture in the way of food, events, entertainment and hospitality in return for donations. The event will run for two days starting at noon and going until midnight and possibly beyond.
